Krit Sangvichien’s “Thainess” show arose from his unwillingness to see Thailand as a follower of other traditions when it has a characteristic style and talent in no way inferior to those of other countries.

There are, for example, the Thai ‘ten crafts’ that we ignore when we hire foreign labour or order production abroad. This exhibition is thus a cultural experiment in finding the meaning of “Thainess” in today’s world.
